The WizzAir company will bring, starting July the Cluj-Napoca – Bucuresti route with a frequency of six flights per week, the price of tickets starting at 39 lei, according to ActMedia.eu.The communications coordinator of Wizz Air Doug Oliver stated recently in Cluj-Napoca in a press conference that the new route will start on 22 July.
The flights will be operated on Avram Iancu international airport in Cluj Napoca and Otopeni Bucuresti.
”We have decided to cover Cluj for several reasons- there is one of the five bases of the company in Romania, the second after Bucuresti. It is a big market with potential, which was not served by the other low-cost companies. It is our advantage that we offer such domestic flights. Over the last year, Wizz Air added on its list 20 airports. We have over 100,000 flights per year” stated the commercial manager Gyorgy Abran, in a press conference in Bucuresti.
Wizz Air is the third low-cost company, after Ryanair and Blue Air which gets on the sector of domestic flights, controlled until now by TAROM.
