
Shares of the five financial companies known as SIF gained 1.75 percent on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE) at closing bell, way above the average on the
market, in a mixed session, dominated by transactions with state securities. Liquidity amounted to 37 million lei at day-end.Romania’s second lender by assets BRD SocGen (BRD) plummeted 1.56 percent to 12.60 lei, while the fifth bank by assets Banca Transilvania (TLV) fell 1.86 percent to 1.58 lei. However, shares of Banca Comerciala Carpatica (BCC) jumped 2.88 percent to 0.107 lei.
