Eurostat: Romania among the EU states with construction works gains in July

The construction works increased by 3.6 percent in EU in July and by 3.4 percent in the Euro area, compared with the same period of 2016, according to the data published this Tuesday by the European Statistics Office (Eurostat), says Business-Review.eu.

mong the member states which registered the highest increases in construction works there were Hungary (22.6 percent), Sweden (21.2 percent), Poland (19.8 percent) and Slovakia (14.7 percent), the only decreases being registered in UK (-1.1 percent) and in Italy (-0.4 percent), says TransylvaniaToday.ro.

 

Romania registered in July an annual increase by 1.7 percent in constructions works, after a decline of 6.1 percent in June.
