Wizz Air announces one international and one domestic route

Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, today announced two new routes; one international and one domestic. The carrier launches a new route from Bucharest to Budapest and a domestic route from Bucharest to Cluj-Napoca, another of Wizz Air’s five bases in Romania. In October, Wizz Air announced four new routes from Cluj-Napoca to Alicante, Berlin Schoenefeld, Billund and Doncaster Sheffield. Wizz Air now offers service on 108 routes from eight Romanian airports to 17 countries, according to ftnnews.com.Wizz Air will begin the Bucharest to Cluj-Napoca route beginning 22 July with six weekly flights, operating every day except Saturday.

The Bucharest to Budapest service begins 19 September with four weekly flights, Monday Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

To mark the new service, Wizz Air is offering introductory fares on the Bucharest-Cluj-Napoca route from RON 39, and RON 99 on Bucharest-Budapest flights.
