The Ministry of Health has announced its intention to build six new regional emergency hospitals through private-public partnerships (PPPs) in Cluj-Napoca, Craiova, Iasi, Targu-Mures, Timisoara and Bucharest.
The Health Ministry states it will bring the land for the public hospitals, while eligible companies will bring the financing. Costs for all six are estimated at 1.5 billion Euro and the construction works are expected to last for four years.
