Eight Romanian companies will take part in the largest annual ICT event in the Middle East, Africa and Asia, GITEX, to be held between October 9 and 13 in Dubai, according to the Romanian Association of Electronic Industry and Software, ARIES.The eight companies are Prodinf Software (Pitesti, southern Romania), Transilvania Software (Cluj, central-western Romania), Arobs (Cluj),Gersim Impex (Bucharest), Lightsoft Romania (Cluj), Feper Company (Bucharest) and Bitdefender (Bucharest).
Romania participates for the sixth time in GITEX in Dubai. ARIES organises the participation of the ICT Romanian companies willing to take part in this exhibition to promote their products and services on the Middle East market, with the Ministry of Economy and the Romanian Centre for the Promotion of Trade and Foreign Investments as partners.
‘The Romanian ICT companies, all ARIES members, are willing to attract customers and partners from the Middle East region for their products and services, which compete with those on the international market. For instance, Prodinf Software comes with the ERP EMSYS solution for the insurance sector, Feper with the mechanical products, Greensoft with the web-based solutions of ERP, CRM, POS, SaaS (renting software), Lightsoft with archiving solutions for medical and governmental institutions, Bitdefender with a business solution for virtualizing and cloud security (and are going to open an office in Dubai), Arobs with software applications for mobile devices for tourism industry and Transilvania Software with software solutions meant for real-time monitoring and localizing for car parks by the GPS technology, mobile phone applications highlighting the traffic jams and SFA solutions to computerize the sales teams. We would like that more Romanian ICT companies to become competitive on the international markets on all continents,’ said ARIES director Alexandru Borcea.
