BBC: St Johnstone: Gregory Tade mulls Transylvanian transfer

St Johnstone striker Gregory Tade has been offered a three-year contract by former Romanian champions CFR Cluj.Tade has travelled to Transylvania for talks as he seeks a new challenge after seven years in Scotland.
However, the Frenchman has incurred the wrath of Saints manager Tommy Wright who was expecting Tade to take up the option of a further year in Perth.
„If he does go it will be disappointing because he told us he would be re-signing,” he said.
„We were waiting for him to come in last week and sign his contract and he didn’t do it.”
And the Northern Irishman is unhappy he may now be forced to look for another forward.
„We didn’t think we needed a striker but at this stage in the summer we now find may have to go out and find one,” said Wright.
„We’ll deal with that but we were told he was going to take up the option and to learn that might not be the case at this late stage is disappointing.”
Tade joined Saints in 2012 on a one-year deal, with the option of an extra year with the Europa League-bound club.
He scored on his debut, against Turkish side Eskisehirspor in last season’s Europa League qualifiers, and finished the season having scored six goals in 41 appearances.
