SIF shares on BSE grow 1.22% at closing bell, on the highest liquidity on the market

SIF shares gained an average 1.22 percent on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE) at day-end, although the rest of the market stood still, as these were intensely speculated by the investors pending discussions in the Parliament on raising the 1 percent ownership threshold. Deals totaled 20.2 million lei, of which 70 percent were transactions with SIF shares.The BET index showing the evolution of the ten best companies on the market eased 0.01 percent to 4,969.56 and the BET-C composite index assessing all listed shares minus financial companies dipped 0.17 percent to 2,866.06.

The BET-FI index of the five SIFs climbed 1.22 percent to 24,250.98 and the ROTX index for trading blue-chips in Vienna lowered 0.34 percent to 10,302.53.

The BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid companies stepped up 0.38 percent to 483.50, while the BET-NG index showing the evolution of the power market slipped 0.21 percent to 626.93.

Shares of SIF Oltenia (SIF5) were the most liquid on the market, with deals of 6.22 million lei, and hiked 1.57 percent to 1.29 lei, while those of SIF Moldova (SIF2) advanced 0.89 percent to 1.13 lei.
