Cătuşe pentru ţeparii firmelor de leasing

Şapte persoane suspectate că ar fi înşelat câteva firme de leasing au fost ridicate azi de poliţiştii Brigăzii de Combatere a Criminalităţii Organizate (BCCO Cluj), în urma unor percheziţii făcute în mai multe judeţe. Metoda folosită de suspecţi, spun poliţiştii era cumpărarea unor firme aflate în faliment sau în lichidare, care ulterior erau trecute pe numele unor persoane fără adăpost, dar prin care erau cumpărate maşini în leasing. Autoturismele erau apoi transportate în Germania, reînmatriculate şi vândute.

A Cinema of Everyday Moments at the Transilvania International Film Festival

Sunday brought a close to the ninth edition of the Transilvania International Film Festival, hosted in the university town of Cluj, Romania. The event has been steadily growing both in size and importance over the past few years with organizers touting 2010 as a record breaking year. During its ten days, bookended by Fatih Akin’s “Soul Kitchen” and Andrei Ujica’s “The Autobiography of Nicolae Ceausescu,” TIFF (as the event is more commonly referred to locally, not to be confused with the elder, esteemed September Canadian event) presented a remarkable 240 films from nearly 50 counties, and its warm staff welcomed nearly 500 Romanian and international guests.

Transilvania International Film Festival featured 240 art-house movies from 47 countries worldwide. The Festival was held in Cluj, in the heart of Transilvania. Special guest at the Festival was German director, Wim Wenders, who is also the President of the European Film Academy. He received a lifetime achievement award.
