Jamal hoping for debut against Cluj

Kenyan midfielder Jamal Mohammed is hoping to make his debut for his new club Targu Mures this weekend when they play second placed CFR 1907 Cluj in their second match of the new season.

Jamal did not play their first match against Dinamo Bucharesti last weekend as he was still gaining much fitness.

An optimistic Jamal told SuperSport.com, „I am hoping to make my debut this weekend against Cluj. I have had a personal trainer who was training me separately until I joined the rest of the team since I could not make it for the pre season in Austria.”

„I feel like 90 percent fit and ready and feel I am ready to give my best for my new side.”

Jamal further added he has received a warm welcome, „the support here for football is massive. I have already made friends with Senegalese Isah Baah and Fofana from Ivory Coast and I feel at home in my new side.”

Jamal was handed the number 2 jersey after signing a three year contract with the side two months ago.
