TransylvaniaToday.ro: Romania overtakes Hungary and Croatia in Europe’s rankings of real households welfare

Romania’s households are considered to be wealthier in real terms than those from Bulgaria, Croatia and Hungary, with 68 percent of European Union average in terms of Actual Individual Consumption (AIC), fresh Eurostat data show, according to Business-Review.eu.

n 2017, Romania recorded the fourth-lowest AIC level in EU, after Bulgaria (54 percent of EU average), Croatia (62 percent), Hungary (62 percent), and was at the same level with Latvia (68 percent), according to TransylvaniaToday.ro.

However, Romania remains below Estonia (73 percent), Slovakia, Poland and Greece all 76 percent).
