German retailer Lidl will open a new unit at Cluj, in Floresti, reaching a total country network of 189 retail stores, the company announced, according to The Diplomat.The new store displays 1,200 sqm and it will create 27 work places. Currently, the retailer has 4,000 employees in Romania, working in the retail network, the regional distribution centers and the headquarter offices. In Europe, Lidl operates in 26 countries and has 100 logistics centers, supplying for more than 1,000 stores, with 170,000 employees, according to company data.
