Representatives of the National Alliance of Student Organizations in Romania express their discontent towards the new Education Law.In their opinion the new law does not allow students to have access to leading and administrative positions in universities.
Thus, representatives of the Alliance say that, even though students make up for 85% of the academic community, their vote is a mere 5% in the election of the rectors. Under these circumstances, students’ representatives expressed their intention to ask the Ministry of Education to restore the students’ legitimate rights.
