Unprecedented international cyber-attack stops production at Romania’s biggest car plant

An unprecedented cyber-attack called WannaCry that has infected over 120,000 computers in some 100 countries also affected Romania’s biggest carmaker Dacia, which had to shut down some of its production lines and send some of its employees at home on Saturday morning. Dacia’s parent-group Renault has also been affected by the attack, says Romania-Insider.com.

The number of Romanian and foreign tourists in Romania went up by 11.8 percent in March to 722,300, compared with March 2016, after a single-digit increase in February, based on higher inflows of foreign tourists, shows the data published on Wednesday by the National Institute of Statistics (INS), according to Business-Review.eu.
