Under a protocol to be concluded this August, Romania’s Government and the US Bechtel company will establish the works on the Transilvania motorway, the Brasov-Bors portion, that will be completed in 2010.At a meeting of Prime Minister Emil Boc and Bechtel officials, it was agreed that the Government and the company will sign this August a protocol that will reflect the Romanian Government’s commitment to continue financing the works on the Transilvania motorway.
The protocol will also establish the works to be completed in 2010,’ the Government reported in a press release on Thursday. Also attending the meeting at the Government House were Transport and Infrastructure Minister Radu Berceanu, Bechtel Civil Chairman Mike Adams and Transilvania Motorway Project Manager Mike Swinford.
