Hampton by Hilton has opened its first hotel in Transylvania with 109 rooms and events space for small meetings.The hotel is located in the city of Cluj-Napoca, the second biggest city in Romania after Bucharest, and is a 10 minute drive from Cluj Napoca International Airport.
The hotel has 40m2 of meeting space, which can cater for up to 35 delegates.

Since then and against a backdrop of growing tourism arrivals to the country, we are delighted to have grown our portfolio to five hotels across the country.
„This latest opening introduces our value-led brand to the region, providing an attractive base for those venturing into Transylvania, well known for its medieval castles, mythical legends and incredible scenery.”
Hilton Worldwide now operates five hotels in Romania, with Hampton by Hilton becoming its third brand to have a presence in the country. Last autumn saw the opening of Doubletree by Hilton Oradea, bringing internationally branded accommodation to the city for the first time.
