The new location, opened under the brand of the company’s Evosoft subsidiary, is a regional centre for research and development which conducts internal IT projects for Siemens as well as software development projects for applications in the company’s portfolio. The centre of Cluj-Napoca is the fourth location opened by Evosoft in the region after Germany, Hungary and Turkey. It will be the third largest by the number of employees, after Hungary and Germany. Located in Liberty Technology Park Cluj, the office has an area of over 3,000 square metres and will reach 210 specialists who will implement software projects and product development projects by 2017.
