Transilvania Bank (BT) recorded, in the first six months of this year, a net profit of 179.62 million lei (some 40.45 million euros), 47 percent higher than that of same period last year, the bank informs in a release.Gross profit amounted to 193.22 million lei, up 29 percent from the first half of 2011.Recently, Fitch reconfirmed the rating of Transilvania Bank to BB-with stable outlook for long-term credits.
