The largest private technology park in Romania, the Cluj-Napoca-based Liberty Technology Park launched the first power charging station for electric cars in Cluj-Napoca, in partnership with Siemens Romania, says thediplomat.ro.he project representing the setting up of new charging station of Sentron 5TT3201-1KK25 type , to be used for charging the electric cars of park residents and also opened to public. According to Ion Sturza, Chairman of the Board, Liberty Technology Park Cluj, the conventional fuels have to be replaced by the new solutions, in order to significantly diminish the pollution and mark the switch to innovative solutions. The Charging station has been delivered by Siemens and it can charge an electric cars within two hours. The autonomy of an electric car is between 100 and 480 km and, once the technology evolves, it is estimated to reach up to 2,000 km after a single recharging.
