The School of Film Agents unveiled the participants for its sophomore session at the Karlovy Vary Intl. Film Festival on Tuesday, according to Variety.com.The workshop program Sofa will take place in Wroclaw, Poland, from Aug. 15-24. Participants are the young “film agents” of Central and Eastern Europe, the Baltic Republics, Germany, Central Asia and this year, Greece, who will work closely with seasoned film business mentors to develop their projects that will have an impact on their regional film cultures.

Anna Bielak, Poland. Her project, AUR! Magazine Awesome/Unique/Radical, is a high-quality print magazine devoted to cinema.
Daniel Deak, Hungary. Deak’s project, Festivalised — Community Platform for Film Festival Guests is a film festival advisory system that helps filmmakers find the right festival for their projects.
Kestutis Drazdauskas, Lithuania. Front — Film Republic of Networked Theaters is a cinema digitalization network for Lithuania.
Cristian Hordila, Romania. Cluj City Film Fund that the city and region Cluj-Napoca intends to draw foreign shoots and re-create a film production center around the city.
Marija Stojanovic, Serbia. “What I See — Program for Audience Development and Stimulation of Critical Appraoch in the Field of Audio-Visual Culture and Arts,” an education film project for Serbia.
Angeliki Vergou, Greece. Octapus, a VOD platform for Greek films.
Jakub Viktorin, Slovakia. DDS — Digital Database of Slovakia, an online database revolving around Slovakian film culture.
Jonas Weydemann, Germany. Directors Collection, a B2B platform connecting producers and world sales agents directly with national cinemas around Europe, providing a transparent system for licensors and licensees.
