Roma goalie Sergio could miss a month

Roma goalkeeper Julio Sergio sustained ligament damage in his right ankle Wednesday and could be sidelined for a month.
Sergio sustained the injury in Roma’s defeat to Brescia, but because his club was out of substitutes, he finished the match in tears. Roma lost, 2-1.

Roma will be without Sergio for Saturday’s game against Serie A champion Inter Milan and Tuesday’s Champions League match against Romanian side CFR Cluj.

Bogdan Lobont will likely replace Sergio in goal for Roma.
