CFR Cluj striker Lacina Traore is in discussion with Arsenal, according to his agent, who confirmed that he spoke with a scout of the North London Club but a move during the January transfer window is out of question.Daniel Stanciu is quoted as saying by Sport.co.uk that due to work permit reasons, the Ivory Coast player will not move to London immediately but next summer, negotiations could resume.
He said:
I have been in touch with one scout from Arsenal. I can confirm that it is true that they are interested in Lacina, but they will not make an offer during the January transfer window for him.
His work permit is an issue for England, and this is the reason Arsenal will not be pursuing him in January. But the summer is different. However in Italy this isn’t a problem.
