Ivory Coast hitman eyed again

Fulham are battling Serie A giants Roma and Napoli for £4million-rated CFR Cluj striker Lacina Traore.

The 20-year-old Ivory Coast-born hitman grabbed his second Champions League goal of the season when he bagged the late equaliser against Roma last week.
The Italian clubs are now very interested in Traore, who has a contract with the Romanian champions until 2012.
Cottagers boss Mark Hughes confirmed over the weekend that he would like to bring in a striker in January due to the continued absence of broken leg victim Bobby Zamora. And Traore, who has attracted interest from Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger in the past and been dubbed the new Emmanuel Adebayor, would certainly fit the bill.
The main obstacles apart from the fee will be to persuade Cluj to sell Traore and then head off stiff competition from the Italian suitors in order to get him signed at Craven Cottage.
