DREAMHACK OPEN CLUJ OPENS DOORS TO THE ASIAN REGION

In an effort to help grow the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive scene outside of Europe, North America and Oceania, leading tournament organizers DreamHack joined hands with leading pickup game (PUG) client FACEIT in order to do a two-stage pre-qualifier for the Asian region, according to esports.inquirer.net.The first stage, already started on September 5, was feature an open qualifier that can accommodate up to 256 teams from all over the continent in a best-of-one single elimination bracket.

DreamHack Open Stockholm will serve as the offline qualifier for the next CS: GO major to be held at DreamHack Open Cluj on October 28-November 1 at the Polyvalent Hall in Cluj, Romania.

Invited teams include QueeYou from China, myRevenge from Korea, MVP.Karnal from Malaysia and Skyred from Vietnam.
