Chievo have announced the signing of Brazilian full-back Edimar from Romanian outfit CFR Cluj on a two-year deal, according to clubcall.comdimar joined Cluj in 2009 but has spent the majority of his time out on loan with Greek side Skoda Xanthi and Portuguese outfit Rio Ave. However, he has now been handed a permanent move to Italy as he looks to get his career back on track and help the Gialloblu improve on last season’s 16th-place finish. The 28-year-old insists that travelling round Europe on loan with a variety of different clubs has helped him to develop as a player and he hopes that experience will be an advantage in Serie A.
