Romanian outifit CFR Cluj have completed the transfers of Ferdinando Sforzini on loan from Udinese and Ramon Anselmo in a permanent deal from Cruzeiro, according to a report on uefa.com.
Cluj were looking for attacking reinforcements due to the injury problems of Yssouf Kone and Sasa Bjelanovic. Kone will be sidelined until the new year with a knee injury, while Bjelanovic is nursing a damaged ankle and will be unavailable until October.
„I have spoken to head coach Andrea Mandorlini, and all I want to do now is score goals and win,” Sforzini was quoted as saying. The Italian attacker previously wore the jerseys of Verona, Modena, Vicenza, Ravenna, Grosseto, Avellino and Bari.
Anselmo will put pen to paper on a five-year contract with Cluj. The agreement for the 22-year-old former Kashiwa Reyol forward is part of the club’s collaboration with Brazilian side Cruzeiro.
Having won a Romanian domestic double in 2009-10, Cluj start this season’s European adventure in the UEFA Champions League group stage.
