Raiffeisen Bank launches urban bike travel site in Romania

Raiffeisen Bank has launched the first site with urban tourist routes that can be followed by bicycle, www.orasulpebicicleta.ro, according to the company. The site includes five big cities in Romania, namely Bucharest, Iasi, Cluj, Brasov and Constanta.
In a first step of the “Orasul pe bicicleta” (City by Bike) project, the inhabitants in these cities are invited to propose the most attractive sights until October 5. So far, Bucharest has the most proposals- 115, followed by Cluj with 81, Iasi and Brasov, both with 67 proposals, and Constanta with 62.
The second stage of the project will consists of puting all these sights on a map with routes that can be covered by bicycle. Trips on these routes will be held on September 21 in Constanta, September 23 in Iasi, September 27 in Cluj, September 30 in Brasov, and October 1 in Bucharest. The participation to these trips in free.
Raiffeisen Romania has a network of over 540 agencies across the country, serving about 2 million individual customers, about 100,000 SMEs and over 6800 large and medium corporations. The bank is involved in the I Love Velo program, which allows people to rent or use for free bikes in major parks across Bucharest and in other Romanian cities, as well as in the Bucharest running competition during the autumn.dle templates freefilm online
